This time I am actually feeling nauseas. Man-oh-man, I am sure I am not alone when I say this is one side effect I want absolutely nothing to do with. My stomach feels nauseas and my face is tingling a bit and feeling hot. As long as my mouth doesn't start watering [fingers crossed] I think I should be okay...
My intention is to share my experience as honestly as I know how.
My commitment is to transform our current cultural conversation about cancer from one of fear and dread to one that empowers those of us who have cancer, as well as our friends & loved ones.
I had cancer. Cancer didn't have me.

Fingers Crossed
This time I am actually feeling nauseas. Man-oh-man, I am sure I am not alone when I say this is one side effect I want absolutely nothing to do with. Bert,
ReplyDeleteIV hydration might help alleviate the nausea... During my chemotherapy treatment, I had more nausea symptoms with every round. By round 4, my last round, I had hydration on the day of treatment and the 2 days following, and my nausea was very much alleviated.
If you are still feeling nauseous, I would suggest calling your oncologist immediately to request hydration. I think you will feel much better.
Take care, and hang in there!
Thinking of you,

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that with me. I am going to the hospital in a little while to have teh 5-FU pump removed and I will talk to them about that while I am there.
Have a great weekend!
Bert
Gettin' the pump removed, not having any more chemotherapy 'till September.....priceless!
