My intention is to share my experience as honestly as I know how.
My commitment is to transform our current cultural conversation about cancer from one of fear and dread to one that empowers those of us who have cancer, as well as our friends & loved ones.
I had cancer. Cancer didn't have me.
Wishing you strength and comfort as you go through Round 2. Prayers being sent your way!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy

Bert - I haven't been monitoring my blogspot blogs this semester, so busy, and therefore have NOT seen your posts. And I don't go to church any more, so I never see your folks... But today, I am reading your posts, and I don't know what to say.
ReplyDeleteEvery year about this time, I go for my annual MRI and review by my breast surgeon, and hold my breath for those words "all clear". In my gut, I dread hearing the news that you are dealing with these last few months. I haven't heard it yet, and I pray I never will, and I don't know how I would face what you are facing.
You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I will be following your blog more closely now, keeping track of your progress and cure.
Much love to you.
